The Engagement, The End of Lyria

Once again... was supposed to be a quick sketch. Did this a while back when things were VERY messy in our campaign.
Sígrün and Sona got engaged after Sona had a brush with death. Sígrün managed to bring her back to life, but had a brief moment of realization he’d found and lost the love of his life in a blink of an eye... at just 16. So the first scene is after Sígrün proposed because life is short and he wanted to marry her before things got complicated again. They’re such dumb lovers.
The second parallel is after Sígrün destroyed half the city, only that’s not Sig. Sígrün unknowingly had been poisoning the angel that protected him with the same black magic curse that killed Sona originally. Sígrün felt this change as they were at the festival of joy, celebrating Sona’s goddess Lyria. This is only a day after the engagement. Sígrün asked the others to watch him because he kept seeing evil awful situations that in reality weren’t there. Our rogue decided to stab Sig to stop him... in a church... which made Sig loose against his angel who possessed him. Thinking all of the townspeople were evil. Toasting the whole square in one move. One of the original angels. So Sona’s best friend was possessed by Lyria and fought the angel inhabiting Sig. Sona went up to talk him down but it wasn’t Sig anymore. His angel Tamiel killed the goddess using the god killing weapon we needed for something else. Then his goddess stipend the angel from Sig, nearly killing him in the process. Then blaming Dig for everything. So the bottom scene is the halfway point of Sona hugging Sígrün trying to get him to take control.
