Pareidolia exercise

Pareidolia refers to the illusion or perception of hidden images or messages in objects, patterns, or sounds.

In this exercise I closed my eyes and drew a line or two. Then I explored some ideas of how I could use these lines to create a character or animal or object. The first thing I saw was flowing hair and then a girl in a fetal position. The way the hair flows reminded me of how people draw water based characters so I based it off of tears, sadness, and flowing water
